State of Decay developer Undead Labs has announced that a second expansion for its Xbox Live Arcade zombie adventure is currently in development. The new add-on is called ‘Lifeline’, and will ‘offer you a new way to play your favorite survival game’.

Not many additional details are available at the time of writing, although Undead Labs has confirmed that Lifeline will add a new map, and the DLC ‘will be its own thing like Breakdown’, which is State of Decay’s first expansion, and provided players with an endless, progressively more difficult, campaign.

More Lifeline details will be released before the end of the month, and a Twitch live stream focusing on the DLC has been pencilled in for ‘real soon’.

A new title update (Title Update 5) will arrive alongside Lifeline, and will bring ‘mostly fixes and some system tweaks’. The previous update was released at the same time as Breakdown.

We’ll bring you more Lifeline news as soon as Undead Labs reveals more.
