The second Borderlands 2 ‘Headhunter’ short launches today, 26 November, with The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler arriving on Xbox 360 and PS3 via Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store respectively, priced $2.99/£2.39/€2.99. PS3 gamers in Europe will have to wait until tomorrow, 27 November, for the new content to be added to the PlayStation Store. The Headhunter DLC isn’t covered by the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, so even if you’ve got a Season Pass you’ll have to pay for this Wattle Gobbler mini-adventure.
The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler tasks players with taking down the titular beasty, which is a giant turkey, as part of a TV show hosted by the irrepressible Mr Torgue. The add-on reveals more story details about Torgue, and also introduces his granny – Grandma Flexington. Extra in-game heads and skins will be offered as rewards for players that successfully exterminate the Wattle Gobbler.
