Batman: Arkham Origins ‘Initiation’ DLC is scheduled to launch today, 3 December, for Xbox 360 and PS3, and will be available to download from Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store respectively. However, it’ll arrive a day later on the PlayStation Store in Europe, so won’t be available on the service until 4 December. The add-on is priced $6.99/£4.69/€6.69, although Arkham Origins Season Pass holders will be able to access the content for no extra cost.
The expansion gives players the chance to play as Bruce Wayne in a story-driven campaign set across four new Challenge Maps. In addition to the new maps, the Initiation DLC provides two new Bruce Wayne skins.

Batman: Arkham Origins ‘Initiation’ description:
You’ve played as Batman… now take the reins as Bruce Wayne!
The Initiation Challenge Map Add-On focuses on Bruce Wayne before he donned his cowl, and introduces a new challenge campaign with four unique challenge maps and two original skins — Initiation Bruce Wayne and Vigilante Bruce Wayne.
Set high in the Paektu-San Mountains of North Korea, the Initiation Add-On follows a young Bruce Wayne as he faces his ultimate test. Players will embark upon a series of challenge maps that test their martial arts training across exotic locales, including a bamboo forest and a mountain top monastery. Combat fresh enemies and face an epic final test to prove your worthiness to Bruce’s greatest and most pitiless teacher, Kirigi.
The arrival of Initiation means there’s now only one more piece of planned DLC that’s covered by the Arkham Origins Season Pass still to come – the still-to-be-announced all-new story campaign. As soon as we hear anything on that, we’ll let you know.
